So today there were auditions for Fiddler on the Roof at the theater. I have always liked this show so I decided to go ahead and audition. My friend Joanna helped prep me for my audition song, which was "I could have danced all night" from My Fair Lady. Actually, that is a good audition piece because it is very light, it lets you act a little and you can show off your voice a little at the end. I liked it a lot!
Anyway, this was the most people I have ever seen at an audition potentially! I mean, there were about 36 people on Sunday night and there were also auditions on Monday night, so there were a lot of people to get through and listen to the songs. Plus there was cold readings of scenes. Thank goodness that there weren't any dancing auditions because otherwise it would have gone on all night! =)
Hoping to get a part because this would be a fun show to be a part of!
